  Field Service Drains Me....

  at this point i absolutely hate field service.

  i have to keep going hough, or else the brothers in my group will be all over my back.

  part of me just doesnt give a f***, but something inside me doent wanna have to deal with it.

  Just hang in there and line up your future!

  Like was stated get your college plans together look into scholorships and grants and loans. @ yrs to go just hang in there and go with the flow. Here's a lil sumthin to keep you going, at the end when I was almost out I would do field service alone. Hell it got to a point where I would go out just with my bible and talk to people.

  If you can start doing something like that you can ween the bro's lookin over your shoulder off you a bit. Also lie about your time to make sure you have the 10 or 12 required hours.

  this is probably directed more to dubs who are having doubts than to ex-dubs, but it is still appropriate for both groups.

  i'll only be offering my own personal opinion here, of course, but then again, i'm never wrong about anything.

  well, i was wrong once; that was the time i thought i was wrong about something.. when it comes to definitive books which clearly expose the wts for what it really is, there is one which towers over all the others, and that book is 1984 by george orwell.

  I remember when the year 1984 was coming around they made a great (and in hindsight obvious) effort to discredit orwell. At the time I thought they were just taking jabs at someone trying to predict the future now since I have left and read the book I can see why they were scandalizing it.

  the basic message is that armageddon is just about to come, god will kill people, and jws will be spared because they use gods name (of all things!

  he is really picky about that name!).

  it seems as if they have survived it all.

  bad press such as articles on molestations, neutrality, blood, defections of high ranking officials, crazy changes in doctrines, financial stresses, passage of a 100 years without one prophecy coming true.

  yet they are still going strong with new members being recruited at a faster level than those who leave.
